Nerka za Baner — a second life for roll-up banners
Unused roll-up banners turned into everyday items.

From storage to everyday use
Under the name “Nerka za Baner” — a belt bag for a banner — the Bespoke Foundation announced an initiative to give unused roll-up banners a second life. Materials left in storage were to return to use as practical office and lifestyle accessories.
Together with a partner, the Foundation collected unused roll-up banners and turned them into new items.
What could a banner become?
The products made included:
- belt bags;
- beach backpacks;
- laptop cases;
- pencil cases for children;
- other practical office and lifestyle accessories.
The idea showed how a material could find a new use after its role in advertising had ended.
A second life for materials and support for people
The initiative also had a social purpose. The sewing workshop employed people at risk of social exclusion.
