Purchase rewards

Purchase reward promotions

Purchase reward promotions are a mechanism that works particularly well in B2C activities. Buying a specified product or meeting defined conditions gives the participant a guaranteed benefit, such as the right to buy an attractive product on preferential terms.

We design both short-term promotions supporting sales of selected products and long-term mechanisms that encourage regular purchases and progression through successive thresholds.

Why purchase reward promotions?

Because a clear benefit gives people a specific reason to buy.

Purchase reward promotions make an offer more attractive without having to reduce the price of the main product. They can support sales of a particular product or category, increase basket value, encourage repeat purchases or reward the most active participants.

We design the mechanics around a simple, clear principle: participants know from the outset what they need to do and what benefit they can receive.

How do we engage participants?

Depending on the objective, we can reward a single purchase, a specified basket value, the number of products bought or successive purchases.

The mechanism can develop alongside the participant’s activity. For example, after their third purchase, they gain access to a product of a specified value; reaching further thresholds gives them the opportunity to buy increasingly attractive products on preferential terms.

From purchase to reward

We can manage the entire promotion, from the concept and mechanics through the terms and conditions, platform and communication to purchase registration and verification, participant support, payments and product logistics.

We design a process that is simple for participants while allowing effective verification that the conditions have been met and reducing the risk of misuse.

A sound framework

We design purchase reward promotions with their legal, tax and accounting implications in mind.

We analyse the rules for granting benefits, participants’ status, the way sales are carried out and transactions documented, and how the promotion is settled. We make sure attractive mechanics go hand in hand with proper, secure implementation.

An attractive benefit instead of another discount

In a purchase reward promotion, the benefit can be the opportunity to buy an attractive product on exceptionally favourable terms. Its value can increase with the participant’s activity, providing an additional incentive to make further purchases.
